Still nothing on cards for Summerland site

With the 40th anniversary of the Summerland disaster now just a year away, the government is still struggling to attract private developers to the former site.

The property remains in the hands of the DCCL, but talking to 3FM this week the Infrastructure Minister admitted that developing the site was proving a massive challenge.

David Cretney also suggested the eyesore at the end of Douglas Promenade looked set to remain in that state for some time.
