A member of Tynwald will ask the Chief Minister if he’s considered having a statue built of a recently knighted Manx cyclist.
Sir Mark Cavendish was awarded the knighthood at a ceremony earlier this month for his ‘outstanding contribution to the sport of cycling.’
Onchan MHK Julie Edge will ask Chief Minister Alfred Cannan if he’s thought about a statue of Sir Mark and where it might be placed.
Tynwald sits on Tuesday October 15 at 10am.
