The start date for a new shipping company for the Island has been put back until next year.
Ellan Vannin Line, which is planning to operate a freight and passenger service, was originally due to start operating this month.
However the company says the ship it is planning to purchase won’t be ready until March.
Captain Kurt Buchholz says they want to wait for the ship to become available rather than try and source a new one:
