Ramsey RNLI crews will be carrying out a training launch this Sunday.
The Shannon lifeboat is expected to launch at 9.30am, returning to the beach at noon.
The lifeboat station says its a perfect oppportunity for spectators, but residents must keep clear of the SLARS rig during operations for safety.
It adds the training highlights the crucial role of the RNLI in ensuring water safety around the Island.
