The Island's Education and Children Minister says a religious group teaching sex education doesn't bring religion into classrooms.
This week in Tynwald, Graham Cregeen faced questions from Ramsey MHK Dr Alex Allinson about how students are taught about sex.
Mr Cregeen revealed the Scripture Union - a mission group that says it wants to use the Bible to inspire children, young people and adults to know God - teaches the subject in the Island's secondary schools.
But he denied religion played a part in the course called Love Life:
