Record-breaking heat as Island sees two warmest summers ever

The Isle of Man has experienced its two warmest summers on record in the last two years, according to Ronaldsway Met Office.

Temperature was a standout, with the mean summer temperature reaching 16.4°C .

Rainfall was below average, with just 138.1 millimetres recorded compared with the summer average of 191.2 millimetres.

There were also less strong winds, with the highest hourly wind speed reaching 25 knots, compared with the summer average of 35.7 knots.
