A well-known Douglas nightclub has reopened its doors after more than two and a half years.
The Courthouse on Athol Street officially reopened on Friday, September 11, with owners Andy Malone and Sheila Dowie welcoming customers back.
The venue has had a full revamp, including new lighting, a new sound system and a new area called Letty's Bar, named in memory of the late Colette Cowie.
Neil Cowie, DJ and event organiser for Cowie's Afternoon Disco, gave an update on the reopening:
The spot will initially be open on Fridays from 5pm and Saturdays from 4pm.
