The Treasury says UK sanctions planned against Iran will apply to the Isle of Man.
It says businesses on the Island should check whether they deal with any Iranian companies, banks and individuals.
There is also a focus in the new rules around the registering and chartering of ships.
The regulations will come into effect from Tuesday, September 29.
