Bulk of Scottish Trawlers Banned From Manx Waters
A new bylaw introduced banning the bulk of Scottish Scallop
trawlers from Manx waters has been condemned by the Scottish Government.
The by-law was introduced to ensure that over-fishing
doesn’t deplete the fish population.
The Scottish Government have called the by-law unnecessary
and believe it’s less to do with fish sustainability and more to do with
blocking out the Scottish fleets.
