Ronaldsway records more passenger increases

Ronaldsway have attributed a successful Commonwealth Youth Games to a welcome boost in passenger numbers for the month of September.

There was a recorded 1.36% rise on the same month last year.

It is the sixth month in a row where the Airport has recorded an increase, with over 64,300 passengers passing through the terminal.

Aswell as the games its thought the stormy seas forced many people to revert to air travel.

Airport Director, Anne Reynolds said ‘the underlying trend is still that Isle of Man air passenger traffic is running at about 2010 levels.
