A TT rider who crashed in Sunday’s opening race has died.
Davey Lambert, from Gateshead, came off his Kawasaki at Greeba during the Superbike race and sustained multiple injuries.
He’d been transferred to hospital in Liverpool, but his family say he died from his injuries this evening.
They’ve released a statement via Facebook thanking medical staff at Noble’s Hospital and Aintree University Hospital as well as his supporters.
