Review will look into amount of referrals to children's social services

Children's Services continues to be reviewed by the Social Affairs Policy Review Committee.

It will be hearing from Dr David Foreman; a retired consultant in child and adolescent psychiatry.

The committee is concerned about the amount of referrals to Children's Social Services, having recently released a report making recommendations on how to improve it.

It intends to take Dr Foreman's evidence on Thursday the 10th September at 11am in the Legislative Buildings on Bucks Road.

Members of the public are welcome to attend.
