Manx Utilities says steeplejacks will start work to repair Peel Power Station today.
One of its chimney flues was damaged during Storm Eowyn, which blasted the Island in January.
New flue sections are now being made by a local contractor, and specialists are due to start work today, Tuesday, October 21.
The organisation says it'll put up scaffolding inside the chimney to prepare to replace the damaged flue sections.
