People are being given the opportunity to tour the Renal Unit at Ramsey Cottage Hospital today.
It opened three years ago and fulfils a long held ambition to develop renal services on the Island - without the facility patients would need to choose alternative treatments or move away.
Between the Ramsey clinic and Noble's Hospital four treatments are offered - haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, transplants and conservative treatment.
