Quinn has acting AG role made permanent

John Quinn

The Isle of Man has a new Attorney General - although it's a familiar face.

Acting AG John Quinn has had the role - which he's held since 2013 - made permanent.

The advocate has been appointed by The Queen and will act as legal advisor to the Lieutenant Governor, Council of Ministers and government departments.

He's also responsible for representing the Crown in the prosecution of offences and for drafting government legislation.
