Manx Utilities says it will reschedule the closure of Peel Promenade for sewage works to reduce disruption for local businesses.
Chair John Wannenburgh was asked about it in Tynwald by Peel and Glenfaba MHK Kate Lord-Brennan.
Mr Wannenburgh said the change also followed input from the local authority.
He explained works will now be split in two phases this year:
