Onchan Commissioners say they're not interested in a proposal to open a gym in Onchan Pleasure Park's stadium.
At its last meeting, the board heard the developer behind the idea had approached the local authority and asked for a meeting.
But commissioners said there was already a gym in the park, and the plan could create parking problems nearby.
They voted against the idea and said they didn't need to meet the developer.
