The Treasury Minister says 72 percent of parking fines are paid within the 42 day period, before enforcement is needed.
Chris Thomas was answering a question about fixed penalty notices from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse in Tynwald this week.
Mr Moorhouse wanted to know how many people made payments to the coroner over the past 12 months for them.
