Pregnant Loaghtan Ewe killed in dog attack

A further call for responsible dog walking has gone out following the grizzly death of a Manx Loaghtan Ewe.

It's thought the animal which was due to lamb imminently was killed by a dog on a farm in the Little Mill Road area of Onchan.

It happened sometime between 8.30am and 1.00pm on Friday of last week.

The two unborn lambs didn't survive the attack either; the farmer and his family are deeply saddened by the loss.
