A company linked to Island residents Doug Barrowman and Michelle Mone has missed a deadline to repay £122 million to the UK government.
PPE Medpro was ordered to pay back the cash - plus £23.6 million interest - by 4pm yesterday following a case in London's High Court over medical gowns it supplied during the pandemic.
The company went into administration on Tuesday, September 30, the day before the judgement.
After the deadline passed, the UK's Health and Social Care Secretary Wes Streeting said the government would pursue the firm for the money.
