Post mortem to be held soon following human remains discovery

More details have emerged concerning the human remains found in the sea off Douglas over the weekend.

Police have confirmed that they belonged to a female although it's not believed she was a local person.

The discovery was made by a small craft at around 9.45pm on Sunday.

The police are now working to aid the coroner's office - a post mortem is expected to take place soon.
