A popular Reverend on the Island has been one of the people selected to carry the Olympic Torch when it arrives on the Island in June.
Reverand Cyril Rogers is both the Rural Dean of Ramsey, and the Team Leader of the Northern Mission Partnership.
He is well known for drawing light on the social and human issues across the Island, and also for his work with the homeless.
He joins a list of local people who will be doing their bit when the torch arrives in Castletown for its tour, on Saturday June 2nd.
