Police are reminding residents not to light any kind of fire during the heatwave.
The warning comes after officers had to speak to a private home owner who lit a fire in their garden to dispose of garden waste.
The force says although it's not against the law to burn rubbish, they strongly advise against doing so during this very hot and dry period.
They say embers can ignire surrounding fields and gardens and cause a real risk of danger to both the public and livestock.
