A student at QEII High School in Peel is celebrating - after getting the highest grade in his Manx exam, which he took a year early!
Ned Hampton has been awarded the Sophia Morrison Award by the Department of Education, Sport and Culture.
He managed the highest mark on the Island as he achieved an A* grade in the GCSE-equivalent exam.
Ned took the exam early, at the end of Year 9.
