The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture says it won't reveal how much a café in the south of the Island costs to rent - because it's commercially sensitive.
A Freedom of Information request asked for details about Silverdale Café and its associated buildings.
The person behind the question asked how much the government made from the site.
But DEFA says it won't release the information on the grounds it could affect future negotiations, and the current operator had provided information in confidence.
