Police investigate Sunday morning assault

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault which left a man with a serious facial injury.

It happened on Sunday outside Newsbeat on Bucks Road in Douglas at 10.30am.

Officers say there was an altercation between three men which resulted in one man being punched - he was taken to Noble's Hospital.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the incident - members of the public who saw anything are urged to contact Police Headquarters.
