Woman Struck By Car Whilst Crossing the Road
An appeal has gone out following a hit and run incident.
Police have launched an appeal after a woman was allegedly struck by a blue car in the area of Anagh Coar in Douglas; it’s thought the car was a Renault Megane.
The female was crossing the road at the time of the accident; the collision was significant enough to knock her to the ground.
The car left the scene immediately without stopping to check she was ok.
She suffered minor injuries to her right leg and was left in a state of shock.
It’s believed the collision took place around 3.15pm yesterday.
