Candidate's banner slashed with knife

An election candidate says vandals attacked a banner with a knife last night.

Kirrie Jenkins, who's standing in Arbory, Castletown and Malew, says the incident happened overnight.

She posted to Facebook, apologising for its appearance after the attack, saying it'd had "a bit of an artistic intervention".

Also standing in the constituency in this month's election are: Juan Henry Christian, Stephen Raymond Crowther, Mark Andrew Firth, Jason Robert Moorhouse, Abigail Mary Quirk, Geoffrey Christopher David Sutcliffe.
