Police say part of the Mountain Road will be shut for the rest of today.
Bad weather and standing water over the route means it's been closed for safety reasons.
Officers say it's currently closed from the Creg ny Baa Back Road to Barrule Park - and the Tholt y Will is also shut.
An emergency road closure order is in place until at least 9am tomorrow, Sunday, October 25, when it'll be reassessed.
