Police are appealing for more information after locating an area where thieves have burnt copper cable.
The cables were stolen from a Manx Utilities storage site on September 26.
Those responsible took the cable to Kerrowdhoo Plantation, where they have burnt it to remove the insulation so they can sell the metal inside.
This would have been a messy job and would leave the copper and the thieves hands and clothes tarnished or blackened.
If you have any more information, or have been offered bare copper cable, you're being asked to contact the Western Neighbourhood Policing Team.
