Onchan Commissioners say vandalism means play equipment in a park in Birch Hill is unavailable.
The incident happened at Jubilee Park last night, when a group of young people damaged parts of the pirate ship.
The board says it'll be repaired as soon as possible but is asking people to take extra care using the facilities and report any damage to them.
Police are investigating.
