A popular plantation could get a 100-space car park, if planners give the scheme the green light.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture says it wants to expand one of three car parks serving Archallagan in Eairy.
DEFA says it will fell diseased larch trees as well as spruce to open up the area near Foxdale Road.
In its planning application, the department says the extra spaces are needed because the site is the most-visited plantation on the Island.
