Tynwald could be set to ask the new Council of Ministers for its plans and priorities later this month.
When the court sits, Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas will ask members to back a motion calling for ministers to produce a document by the end of November.
He wants it to set out challenges and opportunities facing the Island alongside a policy agenda, action plan and legislative programme.
Tynwald is due to sit from 10am on Tuesday, October 20 in Legislative Buildings in Douglas.
