A planning application has been submitted which would see expansion works to the Pennybridge camp site installed in time for next TT.
Under the plans there would 14 electric hook ups, meaning it could cater for 14 camper vans, they also want to extend their season from May - September.
In the application they outlined that they'd like to be able to provide the facility for older customers during TT, who require more home comforts than a simple tent set up.
The desire to remain open for a full season they say is so people can experience our beautiful island during quieter times outside of TT and MGP.
To facilitate the expansion an area of scrub land would need to be removed.
They argued there's a need for additional campsites on the Island with the closure of Silly Moos, Ballamooar in Ballaugh and uncertainty surrounding the Claddaghs in Sulby.
