Petition started to protect rights of immigrants

A petition's been launched to protect the right of immigrants to settle after living on Island for five years.

The campaign by a South African woman calls for the five-year settlement path to be honoured by the Manx government. 

That's the process which allows people with pre-settled status to apply for permanent residency after living here for five years.
