A pedestrian has died following a collision in Ramsey in the early hours of the morning.
Police have confirmed the news - in relation to an incident between 1 – 1.20am on on Lezayre Road, Ramsey.
Officers took to social media to confirm the female pedestrian has died as a result of this collision.
An in depth investigation is now underway and Police would like to hear from anyone in the area at the time that can assist with our enquiries.
Those who can assist are asked to contact PC 286 Andrew Greaves of the Roads Policing Unit.
Authorities add they understand this is an emotive matter and ask no speculation is made as to the circumstances as it does not help any ongoing investigations or the families of those affected.
