The pause on gas disconnections for customers in debt has been extended to the second week of January.
The update was given in Tynwald this morning by new OFT Chairman Tim Glover MHK.
He was responding to a request for an update on the matter by Onchan MHK Rob Callister.
Mr Glover urged anyone struggling to make contact with the OFT immediately to see what help is on offer.
