Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall says it'll be at least the end of March before the Northern Civic Amenity Site opens its re-use site again.
During Tynwald this week, he was quizzed on the future of the facility by Ramsey MHK Allinson about when the re-use facility which closed in August 2024 would reopen.
Mr Crookall said Ramsey Commissioners currently ran the site but a new operator was needed after they finish in March.
He said the department was looking for a new operator, and said Balladoole's problem wasn't unique:
