Residents in Onchan are being urged to seek a rate reduction if plans for a new telecommunications mast go ahead.
That's the view of area MHK Peter Karran - he's also asked the local commissioners to support the Action Committee which is opposing Manx Telecom's application:
He says the value of properties in the vicinity of the proposed mast at Birch Hill will be "badly affected" - as well as having a "detrimental effect" on people's long term health.
