The Mountain Road is shut this lunchtime because of an oil spill.
The Department of Infrastructure says the route is closed from Brandywell Road to the Creg-ny-Baa Back Road.
A broken-down vehicle has left oil on the road surface.
The DOI says its workers are cleaning the road and hope to reopen it soon.
