Education Minister Graham Cregeen says unqualified staff aren't teaching in the Island's schools.
This week in Tynwald, he was asked how many unqualified teachers there are by Onchan MHK Julie Edge.
Mr Cregeen said some teachers are still training, and working in schools as they achieve their professional qualifications.
He says there are a handful of teachers undergoing training:
