The Isle of Man doesn’t have a dedicated prostate cancer pathway.
That’s despite the Health and Social Care Minister confirming there have been 1,721 GP referrals for prostate cancer since 2022.
Minister Claire Christian said the Island aligns with the UK National Screening Committee, that advises against routine screening to prevent over diagnosis and unnecessary treatment from the PSA blood test.
