New variants of Covid-19 have reached Manx shores.
The news was confirmed by Director of Public Health - Henrietta Ewart during today's coronavirus media conference.
She revealed genomic sequencing results show there have been five cases of the new UK variant and one case of the South African.
Dr Ewart said they were all picked up in returning travellers.
