Tynwald will consider new rules for child workers when it sits next week.
Education, Sport and Culture Minister Graham Cregeen will put forward the second set of regulations in two years.
The rules govern what sort of jobs youngsters can do, and what hours they're allowed to work.
The department says the new rules will provide greater clarity to both employers and workers.
