The Island's housing authorities will get more powers to find living places for people who find themselves in exceptional circumstances.
When Tynwald sits later this month, members will be asked to support changes to public sector housing policy.
Under the proposals, authorities would be able to allocate homes to those who've been here less than three months to address exceptional housing circumstances.
Tynwald is due to sit from 10am on Tuesday, July 21 in Legislative Buildings in Douglas.
