The Island's new Housing and Communities Minister says developing a National Housing Plan will be a key priority.
Rob Callister has been appointed to the newly created role, which aims to improve coordination of housing policy across all eight government departments.
The plan will look at home ownership, private rentals, homelessness and increasing housing supply, as well as challenges including mortgage rates and building costs.
It'll also include an existing commitment to deliver up to 1,000 affordable homes over ten years from April 2025.
