A new scheme that could help households switch to cleaner heating is set to go before Tynwald next month.
The proposed Heat Wise Home scheme would provide grants and interest-free credit to install air source heat pumps and improve home insulation and energy efficiency.
Lower-income households could receive up to £23,000 in full grant support, while middle-income households would be offered a mix of grants and interest-free finance.
The scheme builds on previous energy programmes like the Green Living Grant Scheme, and trials involving more than 150 heat pump installations across the Island.
