Bus Vannin says a new bus route will connect the west of the Island to the airport - and provide a service to the Sound.
The number 8S will run through Peel, Foxdale, Ronaldsway Airport, Castletown, Port Erin, Port St Mary and the Sound via Cregneash.
It's planned to start before the school summer holidays, subject to approval by the Road Transport Licensing Committee.
The seven-days-a-week route will run year-round.
