A new online app has been launched aimed at safeguarding people at Island schools.
Safer Schools aims to provide teachers, students, parents, carers and support staff with vital information and resources along with schools being able to engage with different groups on topics such as gambling, bullying, sexting and mental health.
Education, Sport & Culture Minister, Graham Cregeen MHK, says the new system will provide 'credible' and 'relevant' information for staying safe both on and off line.
Rob Sellors, Headteacher at Cronk-y-Berry School - which took part in the pilot scheme for the technology - added he's seen a 'fantastic' response from staff and families over the new concept.
