Fundraiser for TT rider's family after life insurance payout refusal

An online fundraiser's been launched to help a TT rider's family - after his life insurance company refused to pay out following his death at this year's festival.

Helayna Ingham took to Facebook with an emotional post, saying although her husband Dan had a policy, the company says it won't pay out because of technicalities surrounding his death.

She says that's left her grieving children facing losing their home after losing their dad in June.

She's now set up a GoFundMe page to help in what she calls an 'incredibly difficult time'.
